This is the one thing I never could do in art class becausemy fingers are crocket but I enjoy watching others do it .

Throw clay down on the wheel position your hands and watch it form bases bowls cups what ever you want it to become this whole process goes within a few minutes or seconds and you can take it off and throw something else .

Looking back at them they were not perfect but rather or not we got to take more art dealt with how good we were at it and after looking at these things I can see why I only got to take to years of art .

You pour the liquid clay into the mold after you rubber band it . Then you wait for the clay to settle up around the edges then you pour the mix out some sticks and you wait one to two hours for that to try while you pour more .

When you are done you take home all pieces and wait for it to dry before you clean it .

Cleaning it is getting rid of all of the mold marks and turning the surface smooth . When it is totally dry you take it in for the first firing if you want to stain   it this is your only firing . If you wanted to glace it you will have color on it . When this is done you will paint it with a clear glass and have it refired all food items have to be fired twice . Alot of your stain pieces are ceramics .
