Shriners organization

The Shriners need new members it is a great organization which works for the betterment of mankind . Thousands of crippled children from burns lives have been turned around . People who know people who have been helped by the shriners should consider joining the average age of a shriner has risen because they need new members . Think of the good you can do think of that little child who got burned how much pain they are in if you cannot join at least give this organization your support by contributing money to them or support them by going to their events. I was a den mother cubmasters are needed to as will as pack leaders and people who do work to keep up the camps for children to attend . You are needed the good you do while you are alive will project far into the future .

Campfire Girls

When I was young I was part of campfire girls today campfire is both boys and girls but these institutions are dissappearing because people no longer want to be a part of them . We need more toastmasters this teaches people how to make speeches .

Boy scout can always use leaders former scouts can become leaders

I can remember being a den mother when my boys were young it was a wonderful experience and I am glad God gave me the oppurtunity to do it . I had a great bunch of kids to help out it was fun and I learned a lot . Keep it simple thats what I do with my book I kept it simple . I explained what I thought problems were that we all experience in life and what to do about them my book International Book Of Love A Dolls Like Us Book By Sharon Wortman I used my maiden name to publish under .

But back to kids grandparents who have more time are also welcome to help out or people without children .It is a good way to get to know children and to help you decide to have children . It is only one meeting a week and some off time spent camping and fishing with kids my sons troop use to do a yearly bike hike to a friends cabin former boy scout and stay there over night .

Some troops go to summer camp workers and volenteers are always needed at summer camp . Imagine a weeks vacation for free for helping children learn new skills .

merit badge counsellors are always needed every once in a while you get a phone call and scedule a one on one with a scout wishing to advance in rank being a Eagle is still a big deal especially to people who have acheived it .

Voulenteer fire department

I have some friends up in Edgerton Ohio that do this even though they work full time they help out with the fire department run rescue missions in the middle of the night to transport sick people to the hospital . You have to work and take tests and pass them to be able to help your neighbors and my uncle Joe Roberts did this for years in Alexandra Virginia .Alot more lives would be lost without these people who occasionally lose a night s sleep to help other people you can make a difference you are a impotant person don't lose hope and give up on your self .go work for free make a difference some where any where you are important you are needed ..

Girl Scouts

Less not forget about the girls ,their is a real need for girl scout leaders to and they also need merit badge cousellors to encourage them along the way . They also need voulenteers to teach them skills at summer camp.They need people to buy their cookies that is how they support their wonderful organization and there are alot less public money going to these organizations so don't forget to give generoiusly during fund raisers . Thes young people grow up to become such wonderful young people if your son or daughter is not in scouts consider getting them into these programs your child well meet the right kind of other young people if you get my drift not the ones you don't want them to meet http://www.girlscouts.org .
